I have no pictures to post - I will have to be sure to take some next time.
Here is what I have been brewing......
On Saturday, Feb 2nd - I kegged one of the beer that I brewed in October. The Russian Imperial Stout. This beer requires a long fermentation. The taste of this one, I would describe as - a highly roasted malt flavor, with a slight chocolate or burnt flavour. This one is a meal in a glass.
I also kegged a hard cider that I made this fall. Cider Beers also require a long fermentation period. I pressed some apples from a friend and made fresh apple cider. I only made 2.5 gallons of hard cider out of this. All I can saw is - WOW, this is good stuff!!!! Next time I will probaly make a 10 gallon batch.
No promises, but I will try to bring samples to the next Brew Gathering.
